AECS has put together a series of video training for EV owners, technicians, vehicle sales and insurance assessors. Our EV training is not only fun and easy to understand.

EV 2-1

EV Diagnostics & Maintenance: Part 1 (EV2-1)
EV training specifically for technicians and diagnosticians. In this practical training, you will get a solid understanding of maintenance, diagnostics, and repair. We cover the charging system, EVSEs, installations, charge costs, preserving battery quality, a brief look into battery technology and battery live data analyses, stranded EV recovery.
We also cover under EV maintenance; transmission, earth brush inspection, silica tyres, grip, tyre internal technology, brake system, filtration, LED lighting, PDM layout and internal repairs,without the danger of exposure to high voltage. We compare the leafspy data with factory scantool data.

EV Diagnostics & Maintenance: Part 2 (EV2-2)
In this series of videos specifically for technicians and diagnosticians we cover the following topics:
HV Airconditioning and heat pump system diagnostics and servicing, the relation between PTC heater and heat pump. LIN bus communication. Cooling and heating systems, levitating coolant pump diagnostics. Regenerative braking, 3 phase brake booster and backup power supply. We cover extensively wheel alignment and stability control. High voltage distribution and HV parts replacement.

EV 3-1

EV Battery Diagnostics & Repair (EV3-1)
In this series of videos we take an inside look at the individual battery’s construction and chemistry. How the mechanical construction and the batteries are connected. We dive super deep into individual anodes and cathodes connected to the busbars. Commonly found problems inside the individual Li-ion batteries. How does simple chemistry change your thinking about rechargeable batteries? You will learn about SEI, admittance and capacity.
